Fresh Update On A Traditional Home
Renovation Management + Home Furnishing

The challenge here was updating a traditional farmhouse to a modern one, while not losing the charm and warmth. Originally built in 2003 in the woods about five minutes outside of Amagansett town, this traditional home needed renovating and redesign.  We completely gutted two bathrooms, the kitchen and installed new lighting and furnishing throughout this entire 3,500 sf, 4Bedroom, 4 Bath home. Used as a year-round home, the goal was both to create a light and airy feeling in the summer, yet warm and cozy feeling in the winter, all working towards a the home’s new descriptive character: Modern Hamptons Farmhouse.

The queen over mantle was found in a Brooklyn Heights Antique shop. It was an old English pub sign that was painted over in the image of Queen Victoria, and served as the starting point for the design and color scheme of living room.
